Why is water clear?
Water is clear because it is composed of hydrogen and oxygen which are gases that are invisible. Water also neither absorbs nor reflects any wavelength since light passes through it without showing any change in color.
Why is the sky blue?
The sun's rays hit the Earth's atmosphere, where the light is scattered by nitrogen and oxygen molecules in the air. The blue wavelength of this light is affected more than the red and green wavelengths, causing the surrounding air to appear blue.

Key Question: Why is the earth a sphere?

Questions-
  • What are you implying by that?
  • I am implying that some people bully and I want to know what other people that get bullied do about it
  • How could we find out if that is true?
  • You can actually see people getting bullied everyday or you can look it up
  • What are you assuming here?
  • I am assuming that everyone gets bullied
  • What do you mean when you say ?
  • When I say that people get bullied I mean that other people can bully them in different ways and it hurts
  • Is this question clear? Do we understand it?
  • I think that this wonder is clear and understand it and I am sure that other people do too

Recycling Bins

DSCF0004.jpg
It made me think that we really should try to find new ways to treat our environment with respect. Also, that the people who aren't doing anything and aren't being responsible, needs to try because it's not fair to the people who are and it's not fair to the earth.

Wonders
How many people are in our world?
Are there more boys or girls in the world?
Why is the earth a sphere?
Why does our earth only have one moon?
How do we know that there are other planets out there?
How does television or video games affect your health?
Why do dogs eat grass?
How does a television work?
How does a computer work?
How and why do rainbows occur?

What other connections can I draw to my observation?
  • It is really important to recycle
  • We have to be responsible and work together to take care of the world
