What's Your Question?

I observed a tree.

note: (This is not the actual tree that I noticed, but I feel that it better represents a "tree", than my other real tree picture.)

This tree made me realize that you only see one half of the picture, no matter what you are looking at. It also shows that there could be a hundred different perspectives on just one idea or one thing.

Push Your Thinking:

What other connections can I draw to my observation?

  • Some people are quick to judge, but it is always good to be "quick to listen, and slow to speak".

Probe with Questions:

What questions did your observations, thoughts or connections raise?

  • Why do people judge, before they even examine themselves?

I observed a can and realized it was a trash can.
(this can was next to the one I saw)
RyanAObsPic.jpg
It made me think that people brought food with wrappers outside and littered so some people put garbage cans there.

Push Your Thinking:

What other connections can I draw to my observation?
  • That the world should be trash free.

Probe with Questions:

What questions did your observations, thoughts or connections raise?
  • do they recycle everywhere.

Push Your Thinking:

What other connections can I draw to my observation?
  • another connection that i have is running around.

Probe with Questions:

What questions did your observations, thoughts or connections raise?

  • who invented baseball and why?

Wonders of the world:
Why is most of the world water?
i wonder how the earth looks like from a spaceship in person?

  • It is a place of sportsman ship and game, do not walk off the field in sorrow

Probe with Questions:

What questions did your observations, thoughts or connections raise?
  • I observed a baseball field and thought about how baseball and life are not always fair.
  • Is sportsman ship better than winning?
A problem I see in the school are peep holes on the bathroom door.

Favorite Question: Why is their so much water on the world.
Notes about question:
One possibility is because the Earth is closest to the sun, which allows it to have much water. Some majar planets are 100% water.
http://www.nasa.gov/multimedia/imagegallery/image_feature_1925.html
Only 2.5 percent of Earths water is fresh water, so only 2.5 percent is drinkable.
http://earthobservatory.nasa.gov/Features/WeighingWater/
The earth has about 1.39 billion cubic kilometers.

New Question: Are there any other planets we could live on.
I don't think any body is sure that we could live on the moon. It may be a while, so there can be tests and new gadgets.
http://www.universetoday.com/41212/yes-theres-water-on-the-moon/
We may be able to live. Nasa is planning to send astonauts out to explore the 1moon. They are not sure if we can live, but they will make topographic maps.
http://articles.latimes.com/2009/jun/13/science/sci-lunar13
It will be a hard life at first on the moon. They will have trouble breathing. They will also have to eat stale canned food. That may result in moon sickness.

This is a link that shows video of Neil Armstong Landing on the moon-

The picture below is a map of the moon. It is a topographic. This map is the most recent topographic map for nasa. This could help them navigate if they go back to the moon. It would be a very good accomplishment for mankind.

Classroom.jpg
What I observed was Mr. Bishops old classroom.

What Mr. Bishops old room made me think was about the go away party with prison ball, and a toast. I also realized I may never see him again. This picture made me sad and happy at the same time.

Push Your Thinking:

What other connections can I draw to my observation?
  • Some other connections that I can draw to my observation are about how Mr. Bishop was so nice and fun to be around.

Probe with Questions:

What questions did your observations, thoughts or connections raise?
  • Some questions that my observations rose were how is Mr. Bishop doing now.
